AUBURN — Henry W. “Hank” Harlow of Auburn passed away unexpectedly June 9.

He was born in Rumford on Jan, 2, 1947, the son of Fred and Roselle (Bemis) Harlow of Mexico. He attended Mexico schools, graduating from Mexico High School, Class of 1965. He served in the U.S. Navy. During his life he worked many construction jobs, including the Balsams Grand Resort in Dixfield Notch, N.H., and the Ethan Allen Furniture Factory in Beecher Falls, Vt. He retired in 2001 due to ill health.

In June of 1997 he married Jane Berry Harlow. They would have celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on June 14.

Surviving are his wife, Jane L. “Berry” Harlow of Auburn; mother-in-law, Margaret Berry, of Auburn; four sisters, Dottie Bradley, Marlene Provencher and husband, Tony, Helen Cormier and husband, Jim, and Susan Gould and husband, Archie, all of Mexico; two brothers, Fred Harlow of Mexico, and Tom Harlow and wife, Phyllis, of Roxbury; a sister-in-law, Nancy (Berry) Massucco and husband, Wally, of Center Conway, N.H.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; his father-in-law, Paul R. Berry; and a nephew, Raymond Harlow.
