AUBURN — Inez “Nezzie” Brown, 59, of Norway died Thursday June 10, at the Hospice House, following a long illness.

She was born in Auburn on Dec. 23, 1950, the daughter of Melvin “Skip” and Nina (Hicks) Lippincott. She was a graduate of Oxford Hills High School, and later attended the Norfolk, Va. Vocational School, where she received her LPN in 1973. She later attended the CMMC School of Nursing, receiving her RN in 1987. She worked for many years as a psychiatric nurse, traveling and working in many hospitals in many states. She was a member of the Oxford Grange No. 46, since 2003, where she served as a secretary for six years. She was also a member of the Maine State Grange and the National Grange.

She is survived by her mother, Nina Grover, of Norway; sister, Ruby Bryant; and husband, Bert, of Norway; brothers Ivan Lippincott and wife, Debbie, of Harrison, and Ryan Lippincott and wife, Becky, of Norway; and by many nieces and nephews.
