LEWISTON — The Androscoggin Elder Abuse Task Force will host a Senior Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 15, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The fair will be held at SeniorsPlus, Falcon Road.

Participants in the Resource Fair will include the American Red Cross, Schooner Estates, St. Mary’s Lifeline PRS, the Alzheimer’s Association, Legal Services for the Elderly, Sexual Assault Crisis Center, Abused Women’s Advocacy Project, Lewiston and Auburn police departments, SEARCH program, SeniorsPlus, Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice and United Ambulance. Information will also be available from Lewiston and Auburn housing authorities.

People interested in learning more about elder abuse and the resources available to respond to and support victims of elder abuse are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be available and door prizes will be awarded.
