Flea market

HARRISON — An inside/outside flea market will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the VFW Post 9328, Route 35, Waterford Road.

Tables are available to rent inside for $10 each; outside, vendors can set up for $5. Early set up on market day will start at 7 a.m. Call Bev Martin at 583-2232.

Tick seminar

NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens Memorial Hospital will offer a “Ticks and Lyme Disease in Maine” seminar from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, in the Harper Conference Center at the Ripley Medical Building, 193 Main St.

Maine CDC Field Epidemiologist Lisa Bondeson will speak about tick identification, the symptoms of lyme disease and prevention measures. The program is free to the public. Registration is required. For more information or to register, call 1-866-609-5183.

Indoor sale

WATERFORD — An indoor yard sale will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 19, at the Wilkins House, Plummer Hill (next to the church). New items come in weekly. Proceeds will benefit the Maintenance Fund of both buildings.
