OES meeting

LISBON FALLS — Pioneer Chapter 11, Order of the Eastern Star, will be meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at the Ancient York Masonic Hall, Route 196. Kelly Landry, grand conductress, will conduct the official visitation. Refreshments will be served after the meeting. All members of the Order are invited to attend.

Confer degrees

WALES — Webster Lodge 164 AF and AM, 322 Centre Road, will hold a special all-day session on Saturday, June 19, at the Lodge Hall, to confer several Master Mason Degrees. The day will begin with coffee and donuts at 9 a.m. with the Lodge opening at 10 a.m. for Master Mason Degrees.

The group will break for a lunch of barbecue chicken, burgers and hot dogs, plus a pig roast with all the fixings. The Masonic ladies are invited to dinner. Cost will be $10 each person. The Lodge will resume labor at 2 p.m.; labor should conclude before 4:30 p.m. All Master Masons are invited to attend.

POLAND — The Poland Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the Old Schoolhouse. David Tedford will present a program on noteworthy citizens of the area. Refreshments will be served after the program, followed by a short business meeting. All are welcome to attend the meeting.

Museum open

LITCHFIELD — The Old Town House Museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 19, for public tours. Guides will be available. The museum contains extensive collections of items relating to homes, farms and manufacturing in and around rural Litchfield. The museum is located on the Hallowell Road and the tours are sponsored by the Historical Society of Litchfield.
