LEWISTON — Theresa E. Gilbert, 80, of 19 Linda Circle and formerly of 862 Minot Ave., Auburn, died June 13 at her home.

She was born in Hebron, the daughter of the late William and Alvina Michaud Roy. She was married to Normand Gilbert who died June 29, 1966. She worked at Sarah Frye Boarding home as a cook for the past 30 years until her death. She would laugh and say, “I’m older then the residents.” She took pride in her work at Sarah Frye.

She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, but her favorite pastime was going to the casino in Connecticut and more often in Bangor with her girls. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Theresa will be remembered for her generosity and helping anybody that needed it.

She is survived by her two daughters, Constance Landry and husband, Rodney, of Lewiston and Marie Beaucage and her fiancee, Randy Keenan, of Minot; her grandchildren, Heather Lykas and her husband, Jim, of R.I., Brian Gilbert and his fiancee, Katie Ellis, of Auburn and Felicia and Krystal Beaucage of Minot; and her great-grandchildren, Trinity and Gavin Gilbert.

She was predeceased by her two beloved sons, Fernand and Normand P. Gilbert; two sisters, Mabel Bouthot and Lorraine Scipioni; and two brothers, Robert and Joseph Roy.
