NORWAY — Matt Zidle, a member of the WMTW-TV8 weather team, will visit the Norway Memorial Library Children’s Room at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17, to present “Wonderful Weather,” the first activity program in the library’s summer reading program.
A Lewiston native, Zidle joined the WMTW First Warning Weather Team in December of 2004. He worked in the Portland area for almost six years before joining WMTW. Before that, he was the chief meteorologist at WLTX in Columbia, S.C., and also worked at WSI, a company that provides weather graphics to television stations across the country.
Zidle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in atmospheric science from the University of North Carolina in Asheville. He lives with his family in Gorham.
