Potluck supper

DIXFIELD — The Dixfield-Dirigo Alumni annual potluck supper will be held Saturday, June 19, at the TW Kelly Middle School, Weld Street. A social hour will begin at 4 p.m. followed by the potluck from 5 to 7 p.m.

 Anyone who attended Dixfield schools is invited. The classes of 1940, 1950, 1960 and 1970 will be honored.

Scholarship recipients

SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford County Education Association – Retired has announced the following recipients of the scholarships for the year 2009-10. They are April Dudley, Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School; Amanda Wiley, Telstar High School; Jennifer-Lee Campbell, Sacopee Valley High School; and Kristen MacBride, Buckfield Junior-Senior High School.

Public supper

RUMFORD — The Rumford United Methodist Church on Linnell Street will serve a public supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 19. There will be several kinds of beans, meatballs, casseroles, cole slaw, rolls and pies. The cost is $6 each person.

Class lunch

DIXFIELD — The Stephens High School Class of 1946 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, at Ellis’s.

Dance

RUMFORD — The Snowshoe Club will hold a dance from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 19. Music will be by Noel and Don. Members and guests are welcome.
