My interest in Amanda Fields of Tripp Middle School in Turner soared when I read in the June 6 edition of the Sun Journal of her concern and strength in aiding a student who was bullied by other students.

I send along a cheer to her. We need more like her in our society. She has the stamina to be a good leader in her young life and as she faces her life’s future.

May God bless her and protect her in her walk through life. I admire her so much.
