NORTH WATERFORD — The first public supper of the summer season will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at the North Waterford Congregational Church on the Five Kezars Road, off Routes 35 and 37.
The menu will include baked beans, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, brown bread, rolls, beverages and gingerbread for dessert. The price for adults is $7, children under 12, $3.50.
Due to the upcoming retirement of the Rev. George Frobig, the community is invited to a farewell party at noon Sunday, June 27, following the church service at the North Waterford Church. All are invited to attend.
Regular Sunday worship services are currently being held at the Stoneham Congregational Church. Services will move to the North Waterford Congregational Church beginning Sunday, June 27, at 10 a.m., and will be held there during July and August.
Plans are also being finalized for activities and events to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the North Waterford Congregational Church in July.
