Library hours change
LEWISTON — Beginning Monday, June 21, new hours will be on tap for the Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St. The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. summer Saturdays.
In addition, on line access to the Lewiston Public Library is always available at www.lplonline.com, and inquiries may be directed to 513-3004 (TTY/TDD, 513-3007) during hours of operation.
Music festival
NEW GLOUCESTER — The fifth annual Maine Festival of American Music will be held on Thursday to Saturday, June 23 to 26, at the Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village, Route 26. Guest artists will be pianist Paul Posnak, soprano Christina Astrachan, the Sabbathday Lake Shakers and the Portland String Quartet.
Work by Gershwin, the Shakers, Bloch, Mozart and Dvorak will be featured. For a free brochure, call 926-4597.
Distribution day
AUBURN — Auburn AC Serve, a part of Serve New England’s food and volunteer program, will have its Distribution Day from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at the Auburn Advent Christian Church, 263 Turner St., Whitney Street entrance. Registrations for July also will be taken.

Yoga
TURNER — Anyone looking to develop or deepen their yoga practice is invited to enroll for “Yoga for Optimal Health,” sponsored by SAD 52 Adult and Community Education. The class will begin Tuesday, July 6, and will run for six weeks. For those that cannot commit to the full course, a drop-in rate of $12 each class will be available.
