LEWISTON — The Alley Cats L/A is seeking donations for a yard sale to be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, 55 Strawberry Ave.

The organization works in partnership with the humane society to provide neutering and rabies shots to outdoor stray and abandoned cats that are being fed by individuals throughout Androscoggin County.

Anyone who feeds homeless outdoor cats may contact the group to get the cats neutered. The group can also help socialize and find home for kittens that are younger than 12 weeks old. Also, the group is looking for anyone with a barn that is willing to maintain a colony.

Proceeds from the yard sale will benefit the Alley Cats L/A.
