FARMINGTON — Lloyd A. “Bill” Pollis II, 49, a resident of Maple Lane, Livermore, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 16, at Franklin Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

He was born Feb. 8, 1961, in Augusta, the son of Lloyd A. and Donna J. (Harrington) Pollis. He grew up in Fayette and attended Livermore Falls High School. He was an accomplished welder and most recently was employed by DECCO until his health issues prevented him from working. He lived his life to the fullest. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed riding his Harley in the summer and his snowmobile in the winter. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends, along with his devoted dog, Daisey.

He is survived by his children, Lindsey A. Pollis and Joshua R. Pollis of Livermore; grandchildren, Autumn Marie and Joshua R. Pollis II of Mexico; his mother, Donna J. Pollis of Fayette; brothers, Neil Pollis and his companion, Linda Simpson, of Union; Craig Pollis of Readfield; Keith Pollis and his wife, Darcie, of Fayette; sister, Karen Lucarelli, of Venice, Fla.; several nieces and nephews, aunt and uncles; special aunt and uncle, Robert and Gloria Pollis of Gardiner; and his ex-wife, Shelly Rose, of Portland.
