WATERVILLE — The following area residents were among 477 seniors who graduated from Colby College May 23, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree at the outdoor commencement:

Amanda R. Burgess, daughter of Arthur and Gail Burgess of Auburn, majored in religious studies and government, graduated cum laude, achieved dean’s list, distinction in religious studies and honors in religious studies. She is a graduate of Edward Little High School.

Amanda J. Ivey, daughter of David and Anne Ivey of Oxford, majored in psychology. She is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

Adam N. Paine, son of Carl and Dianne Paine of Bowdoin, majored in chemistry, biochemistry, achieved dean’s list, distinction in major and honors in chemistry. He is a graduate of Mount Ararat School.
