NORWAY — Ida M. Moore, 94, of Norway, formerly of Mexico, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 17.
Born in Mexico on Dec. 28, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Philias and Genevieve (Martin) Cormier. She was a graduate of Mexico High School with the Class of 1934.
She worked at Diamond Match in Peru, on the pointer machine for 17 years. She was a member of the Mexico First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading the Bible and completing crossword puzzles.
She was married in Mexico in 1935, to Floyd L. Moore, who died in Mexico on Oct. 24, 1963.
She resided in Norway with her special daughter-in-law, Helen Young and husband, Allen Young.
Survivors include two sons, Terrance Moore of Livermore and Norman Moore of Bryant Pond; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband; a son, Robert Moore; and brothers, Ele Cormier, William Cormier, Walter Marston, Perley Marston, Harry Marston, Jr. and Wallace Marston.
