Everywhere we hear, “Wash your hands.” Schools, hospitals, and when we go to restaurants we have a sanitary wipe. We went into a deli the other day and the lady was making sandwiches, NOT WASHING HER HANDS and then taking money for change. How sanitary is this? And when you think about it, what about those hot dog stands on the road, and the fairs. They aren’t washing their hands either. And we wonder why we get sick. Can’t everyone wash their hands?

Ok, so here is my gripe. I am a registered voter in Maine, I am also a member of the Penobscot Indian Nation, and right now what really gets my blood boiling is all this talk about bringing a casino to the Bates mill complex. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for bringing jobs to Lewiston/Auburn. But back in 2003, the Native Americans wanted to build a casino and the referendum was rejected; again in 2007, the same thing.
But in 2008 the “BIG” Hollywood Slots and Raceway opened.
And now all this talk about a casino in Lewiston/Auburn? I have a great idea, why don’t we just let the Native Americans build a casino! I mean, haven’t we been screwed enough?!
