William (Jack) Rioux

MEXICO — Peter and Kathy Thompson of Mexico are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Caroline Thompson, to William (Jack) Rioux, son of Claude and Colleen Rioux of Harpswell.

Miss Thompson is a 1998 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2002 graduate of St. Joseph’s College with a degree in physical education. She is currently continuing her education in order to receive her master’s degree from St. Joseph’s College. She is employed at Mt. Ararat Middle School as a health educator and as a high school JV soccer coach and a seventh-grade basketball and softball coach.

Mr. Rioux is a 1999 graduate of Mt. Ararat High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a degree in physical education. He is currently employed at Mt. Ararat Middle School as a physical education teacher and as the freshman boys soccer coach and the seventh-grade boys baseball coach.

The couple will be married on July 17 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Brunswick, with a reception to follow at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston. After a honeymoon to Walt Disney World, Florida, the couple will reside in their new home in Lisbon Falls.
