Between Friday, June 11, at 7 a.m. to Friday, June 18, at 7 a.m. this department responded to 750 calls for service. Of those calls, 169 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal mischief

A residence at 19 Montello St. had damage done to a window screen during an apparent attempted burglary sometime prior to 8:30 a.m. on June 14.

A vehicle parked at 38 Brooks Ave. had its tires slashed overnight June 11–12.

The Longley School at 145 Birch St. was tagged with graffiti overnight June 16–17. “L-Town” was painted on the rear of a trailer.

A vehicle parked at 61 Maple St. had a windshield shot out by a BB gun sometime between 5 p.m. on June 14 and 7 a.m. on June 15.

A door to an apartment 195 Bartlett St. was shot with several BBs on June 14 prior to 8:45 p.m.

Motor vehicle burglaries

A vehicle parked at 74 Nichols St. was rummaged through overnight June 16–17.

A vehicle parked in the Chestnut Street Parking Garage at 29 Chestnut St. was burglarized prior to 9:30 p.m. on June 15; a window was broken to gain entry.

A Kodak digital camera and some Suboxone were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked at the Bates Mill at 35 Canal St.

Burglary

An apartment at 75 Elm St. was burglarized prior to 6 p.m. on June 16; electronics were taken.

A residence at 106 Old Chadbourne Road was burglarized between 1 p.m. on June 14 and 1 a.m. on June 15. A gun and a large container of change were taken.

An apartment at 117 Shawmut St. was burglarized during the evening on June 12.

Entry was gained through an unlocked window; $200 in change was taken.

A garage at 61 Jefferson St. was burglarized prior to 9 a.m. on June 12.

Thefts

A blue-and-silver Trek mountain bike with front shocks, a speedometer and an “820” sticker on it was stolen from the rear of the Kora Shrine Temple at 11 Sabattus St. prior to 2 p.m. on June 15.

Maine MC registration 525GF was stolen from a bike in the driveway at 64 Spring St. along with the mounting bracket sometime between June 10 at 7:30 p.m. and June 12 at 3 p.m.

Sometime between June 11 and June 14 six rolls of copper wire were stolen from rear loading deck inside the CMP compound at 740 Main St.

A bicycle was stolen from 219 East Ave. prior to 8 p.m. on June 15.

Two loads of clothing were stolen from a washing machine on June 14 at 10:30 a.m. The suspect left in a small pewter-colored pickup truck.

Several vehicles at Lewiston Car Care at 1399 Lisbon St. had catalytic converters cut off of them sometime prior to 10 a.m. on June 16.

A coin-operated washing machine at 312 Webster St. was damaged and had the coin box taken from inside overnight June 15–16.

Operating after suspension arrests

Angela Sproul, 26, was charged with operating after suspension and failure to register vehicle on June 14 at 11:07 a.m. at 50 Bridge St. following a routine traffic stop.

Charles Bradrick, 22, was charged with operating after suspension and failure to register vehicle on June 14 at 7:44 p.m. at Fortin Way following a routine traffic stop.

Wanted

Kristina Faletra, 21, is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for assault.

Floyd Young, 48, is wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear for OUI.
