Brenda Melhus of Norway Downtown, center, is presented an award by President Andrea Burns as board member of the year as Town Manager David Holt looks on. Melhus was recognized for outstanding leadership and efforts to promote downtown Norway, including designing nine banners welcoming Main Street pedestrians and motorists. She was also recently awarded the Maine Downtown Achievement Award for Outstanding Image Campaign at the 20th Maine Downtown conference.
