LEWISTON — The Central Maine Christian Academy recently held a graduation ceremony at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene.
Commencement exercises were held for the school’s four seniors, Lindsay Marchand, daughter of Gary Marchand and Cindy Boisse; Jessica Johnson, niece of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Watson; Aaron Lindahl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindahl; and Peter Field, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Field.
During the graduation, youth leader and teacher Michael Nyberg presented the commencement address, “Journey to a Good Future.” Students then honored their senior classmates through songs and tributes that they had written to the seniors. The tributes were followed by a slide show of each of the graduates’ lives, prepared by computer teacher Tina Bryant.
The diplomas were awarded by administrator Patricia St. Hilaire, board member David St. Hilaire and members of the high school staff, Tammy Paquette, Michele Hall and Mike Nyberg. Following the graduation ceremony, relatives and friends joined the graduates and their parents in a receiving line and reception held in their honor.
