LEWISTON — The Central Maine Christian Academy recently held its closing program for the school year for parents and friends.

Held at the Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, the program opened with songs performed by preschoolers, kindergartners and first- and second-graders. Students from the third through fifth grades performed a skit, “The Widow’s Offering.” Students from the junior high and high school also performed drama presentations. The evening concluded with the CMCA chorus and instrumental ensemble playing a variety of worship songs.

Staff members and volunteers were recognized for their contributions to the school. Included among them were Jessie Cossaboom, Patricia St. Hilaire, Julie Corff, Betty Anderson, Bonnie Garman, Tammy Paquette, Kim Lindahl, Dan Allard, Amber Cassaboom, Katie Dyer, Michele Hall, Tom Clark, Michael Nyberg, Marie Castonguay, Larry Campbell, Tina Bryant, Megan Corff, John Field, Sherry Field, Faith Dostie and Denva Corff.

The school is accepting applications for its toddler daycare program and its 2010-11 school year for students in preschool, kindergarten and grades one through 12. For more information, call the school at 777-0007.
