TURNER — Marion L. Jordan, 83, of Turner passed away on Tuesday, June 22, at her residence with loved ones by her side.

She was born in Saugerties, N.Y., Aug. 28, 1926, the daughter of Joseph and Susie Schaffer.

She worked as a salad girl in a hospital in New York. She moved to Maine, picked apples, did odd jobs and raised two wonderful sons. During that time, she was involved with Turner Lady’s Extension Group and Boy Scouts.

She had a great love for puzzles, gardening and people. She was the Red Sox number one fan.

She had an extended family of sons that hung around.

She is survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many friends. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her especially by Adam, Kelly, Trooper, Lizzie and Lucy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jack; and her two sons, James and Joseph.
