FARMINGTON — Melody is a dilute torti that has been at the Franklin County Animal Shelter since February. She is a senior and prefers to be in a quiet home, staff at the shelter said.

Her favorite past time is to cuddle with someone on the couch or sleep contentedly in her little cat bed. Melody just wants her forever home, they said. She is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. Also, her adoption fee has been waived because of her age.

New dogs at the shelter include a black and white bull terrier mix from Temple.
