RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for James Paquette was celebrated Tuesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. James Martel was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Readings were done by his nieces, Jean Soubble and Karen Wetch. The eulogies were given by his niece, Karen Wetch and nephew, James Parent. Pallbearers were David, Jim, John and Mike Parent and Joe and Kevin Haines. Interment was at St. John Cemetery. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
