NORWAY — Healthy Oxford Hills will sponsor a Retail Beverage Service Training Program, designed for establishments that serve liquor on-site, from 8:30 a.m. 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, at the Norway Town office.

This training program is approved by the State of Maine and will be presented by Frank Lyons of BC Consultants. Lyons spent 23 years as a Liquor Enforcement Officer and is a certified instructor with the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.

The training is geared toward owners, managers and employees of alcohol servers, and will cover false identification detection and carding policy, alcoholism and how alcohol affects the body, signage rules and regulations, the Maine Liquor Liability Act and more need-to-know information for employees and owners.
