NORWAY — Western Maine Health Vice President of Clinical Service, M. Patricia Cook, RN, MBA, EdD, announces that Rebekah Brown was recently hired by MaineHealth and Stephens Memorial Hospital to be the resource and referral specialist for the medication access program at SMH.
“MedAccess” is a program to help make sure anyone who doesn’t have prescription coverage but does meet drug company guidelines for free drug programs called, Patient Assistance Programs, can receive prescribed medications. Help is also available for Medicare beneficiaries and some other patients.
Brown, who lives in the Casco area, was most recently an administrative associate at Maine Medical Center. Her expertise is in customer service and administrative support.
