A press conference will be held at the University of Maine this afternoon regarding the investigation of an attack of university computer servers this spring which made have exposed students’ personal information.

According to a press release from the university, a breach may have exposed information related to “a small percentage” of UMaine students between the summer of 2002 and the present.

UMaine Vice President of Student Affairs Robert Dana and Detective Sgt. William Flagg from the UMaine Department of Public Safety will provide details at a 2 p.m. news conference in Orono.
