WELD – Line dancing classes will begin Monday, July 5, as fundraiser for the Weld Recreation Program.

The instructor is Louis Moniz Jr., also known as “Mad Louie.”

The classes will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays of July 5, 12, 19 and 26, and Aug. 2 and 9.

Lessons will be held at Weld Town Hall at 17 School St., which is also Route 156.

The cost for six lessons is $48, or $10 per night for walk-ins.

Checks should be made payable and sent to Town of Weld, care of Jean Sickels, 22 Phillips Road, Weld, ME 04285.

The classes are open to everyone, no partner is necessary.
