Allison Coombs of Livermore was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, at Bentley University, Waltham, Mass., on May 15.

Coombs majored in information design and corporate communication with a concentration in public relations and marketing minor.

Her undergraduate activities included being president of the Bentley Communications Association, a social media speaker for the Bentley Marketing Association and a service learning volunteer.

Coombs was also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honors society for business students, and the Bentley Honors Society for outstanding academic performance. As part of the Bentley University Honors Program, she completed a capstone thesis titled “The Impact of Social Media on Sports Public Relations.”

Coombs is the daughter of Douglas and Rosanna Coombs of Livermore and a 2006 graduate of Hebron Academy.
