LEWISTON — The SeniorsPlus Education Center located at 8 Falcon Road will offer the following classes:
Gentle Yoga: Fridays, July 9 to Aug. 6 (no class on July 30), from 3 to 4 p.m. Cost: $32 for the series or $10 drop in fee for each class. Instructor: Paul Jones.
Introduction to Facebook: Monday, July 19, from 10 to 11 a.m. Free. An introduction to what it is, how to create a profile, e-mail friends and family and how to be safe when online. Instructor: SeniorsPlus’ Maureen Brosnan.
Medicare Basics: Wednesday, July 21, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Participants will learn the basics of Parts A through D and how to be sure they are getting the best coverage. Instructor: SeniorsPlus’ Roland Bussiere.
The Healing Power of Journaling: Friday, July 23, from 10 to 11 a.m. Free. The workshop will teach caregivers, and anyone else interested, the many ways journaling may be done, along with the beneficial outcomes. Participants will receive a journal and pen to start them off. Instructor: SeniorsPlus’ Rhonda Clukey.
