TOPSHAM — A lively cast of local children will perform in Midcoast Youth Theater’s production of the musical “Disney’s 100 Dalmatians Kids” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 15-17, at Mt. Ararat High School.

This stage adaptation of the popular Disney movie is set in London, where Dalmatian dogs Perdita (Jane Nordmann) and Pongo (Lucas Rankins) live with their happy family of Dalmatian puppies. But their lives are turned upside down when the villainous Cruella De Vil (Olivia Mendes) kidnaps them, with plans to turn the puppies into her new fur coat — prompting the dogs of London to band together to rescue them.

Other cast members are Sylvie Fenderson, McKayla Prophett, Lila Solberg, Annabel Kipp, Carissa Dolham, Rowan Joyce, Emma Nickerson, Olivia Justice, Emma Rankin, Camille Beaudoin, Colin MacKinnon, Makenzey Bedford, Emma Banks, Ella Perham, Elijah Bernier, Mia Desantis, Isabella Banks, Maribel Corey, Daphne Frizzle, Kaitlyn Prophett, Paige MacKinnon, Able Kaplan, Megan Hughes, Sarah Poutree, Jenna Brooks, Eddie Capoldo, Elena Corey, Madeline Horrocks, Anna Sawicki, Sophie Kaplan, Fiona Hoang, Jackson Capoldo and Mattigan Donovan.

The show’s director is Henry Eichman, who is working with music director David Olsen Petrowski, choreographer Annabelle Gardiner, stage manager Sarah Cropley and costumer Pam Tondreau.

“Disney’s 100 Dalmatians Kids” will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and at 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $10 adults, $8 for students and seniors, $5 for children ages 5-8. Tickets will be available at the door or online at www.youth-theater.org.
