GREENE — Jaime and Helen Desousa of Medford, Mass., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Marissa Desousa of Medford, Mass., to Jacob Marquis of Medford, Mass., son of Jeffrey and Tracey Marquis of Greene.

Miss Desousa is a 2003 graduate of Medford High School and a 2007 graduate of Colby-Sawyer College. She is currently working at State Street in Boston.

Mr. Marquis is a 2003 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2007 graduate of Colby-Sawyer College. He is currently working for the Bowdoin Group in Wellesley, Mass.

The couple will be married on Aug. 21 at the Woodlands Country Club in Falmouth.
