UNIONVILLE, Va. — Arlene Genevieve Jordan, a former Lisbon Falls resident, died June 7, at her daughter’s home in Unionville, Va. She was 79 years old.

She was born April 23, 1931, in Portland, Ore. Arlene was a beloved homemaker and wife to Carroll M. Jordan Jr., a Maine native, Korean War veteran, and 20 year Air Force retiree. He preceded her in death 13 years earlier.

She is survived by her children, Eddie D. Jordan of Unionville, Va., Ronald T. Jordan of Lisbon Falls and Lucy Jordan-Coleman and husband, George, of Unionville, Va.; her grandchildren, Ronnie W. Jordan and wife, Jennifer, of Sparks, Nev., Ryan C. Jordan, Sean C. Coleman, and Julianne E. Coleman of Unionville, Va.; and great-grandchildren, Tristan Jordan, Jordan Terral, and Kevin Terral, all of Sparks, Nev.; her sister, Lucille Hoover of Tacoma, Wash.; niece, Diane Bailey; nephews, George Hoover and wife, Myrna, William Hoover and wife, Toni, and Gary Janes and their children and grandchildren, all of Tacoma, Wash.; sisters-in-law, Enola Lehman and husband, Ralph, of White River Junction, Vt., Eva Bernier, and husband George, of West Bowdoin, Sheila Anderson and her husband, Stuart, of South Windsor, Conn.; and brothers-in-law, Frank Jordan and wife, Pat, Charles Jordan and wife, Charlotte, and Albert Jordan, and wife Doris, all of Lisbon Falls, and their children and grandchildren.
