On June 18 — 10:52 p.m., Sgt. Higley is investigating an incident in which a vehicle was egged on Strafford Avenue. No damage to the vehicle.

On June 19 — 5:42 p.m., Patrolman Daley investigated an incident in which a mailbox was damaged on Andover Road. Estimated damage listed at $40.

On June 19 — 10:54 p.m., Patrolman Theriault is investigating an incident in which a vehicle was damaged on York Street. No damage amount listed.

On June 23 — 11:17 a.m., Patrolman Miller is investigating an incident in which four tires were damaged on Hancock Street. Estimated damage listed at $800.

On July 2 — 10:15 p.m., Cpl. Maifeld is investigating an incident in which a vehicle was damaged on Virgin Street. Minimal damage as scratches may be buffed out.

Theft

On June 21 — 11:44 a.m., Sgt. Bean handled a report about an employee stealing cash from a local business. CID is investigating the case, 4551 X233; call Detective Sgt. James Bernard (364-4551, ext. 232) or leave a tip at our tip page.

On June 24 — 8:44 p.m., Patrolman Theriault is investigating the theft of a credit card. The credit card was used illegally to pay a bill and purchase stuff online valued at $315.

On June 25 — 1:08 p.m., Patrolman Miller is investigating the theft of a purse from York Street.

On July 2 — 10:28 a.m., Sgt. Higley is investigating the theft of $7 in change from a parked car on Penobscot Street.

On July 4 — 7:48 a.m., Patrolman Theriault is investigating the theft of medication from a parked car at Hosmer Field.

Wanted

Thomas Taylor, 48, of Rumford is wanted on an Oxford County Superior Court warrant for failure to pay fines for operating under the influence. Date of warrant, April 27.
