AUBURN — Jim Wilkins was recently hired as the director of development for the Auburn Public Library. He is responsible for the Auburn Public Library’s annual fundraising, including annual giving, special events, corporate sponsorships for programs, and gifts to the library’s endowment fund that permanently honor individuals, families or businesses.

Wilkins has more than 15 years of experience working at local nonprofit organizations, most recently serving as the director of advancement for Community Concepts in Auburn.

He is also co-director of the Auburn Nordic Ski Association, a local cross-country ski club dedicated to preserving the tradition of Nordic skiing in Auburn and Lewiston.

Wilkins and his wife live in Auburn.
