GUAYAQUIL, Ecuador — The wedding of Emily Louise Goss and Alex Daniel Quimi Moran was held on Aug. 21 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Pastor Dario officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Quimi is the daughter of Walter and Sharon Goss of Mechanic Falls. Mr. Quimi is the son of Ricardo Quimi and Juana Moran de Quimi.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown in A-line style with lace A-line open overlay embellished with beads. She carried a bouquet of orange lilies.

A sister of the bride, Sarah Goss, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katharine McKay, best friend of the bride, and Lily Bourget and Katie Bourget, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Melany Quimi and Joanna Quimi, nieces of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Nathanael Jimenez, friend of the bride.

A reception followed. The couple was residing in Guayaquil, Ecuador, but has recently returned to Mechanic Falls.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2008 graduate of University of Maine Farmington. She has started “Foundation Restoration” to help disadvantaged children in Ecuador.
