AUBURN — The Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. The board of directors will meet at 10 a.m.

Following the meeting and a bag lunch, bingo will be played.

Tickets will be on sale for $5 for the cook in/cook out luncheon to be held Wednesday, July 28.

Forty-nine members were present when the group met June 23 under the direction of the President Merry Strout. Irene Fraser, Patti Guptill and Robert Berry were welcomed as new members, Dorothy Weeks was welcomed as a guest and Ellie Rolerson was welcomed back after being out ill.

Trip chairwoman Evelyn Sawin announced she is having a bus trip Aug. 20 to Meredith, N.H. On arrival, passengers will board a train for a scenic 2-hour ride, cost $62. The price includes bus fare, train fare, a full-course turkey dinner served on the train and bingo played on the bus. One does not have to be a member of Robin Dow to go on the trip. June birthdays were acknowledged. Attendance prize winners were Midge Demers and Lucien Marcoux; pot of gold, Shirley Thieriet, Midge Demers and Virginia Trafford; mystery prize, Mary Tassinari, Mary Ray and Anna Gavel.

After the meeting and following a bag lunch, bingo was played.
