Central Maine Federal Credit Union has awarded its Books for Kids Program grant to the Lisbon Library. The grant is awarded to programs that encourage reading and literacy in children. The library was selected for its “Make a Splash…Read” 2010 summer reading program and the grant will enable the Lisbon Library to purchase selected books and to provide prizes for the program participants.
