Members of the Gray-New Gloucester Girl Scout Troop 739 recently set the New Gloucester Fire Department up with a place to do their recycling. The girls recently learned about recycling and its importance and decided to make this a community service project. The scouts purchased bins, labeled them and took them to the fire department. They earned their Community Builders Patch, which serves as a record of a girl’s adventures and accomplishments as a Girl Scout. Pictured in front, from left, are Emily T., Emily H., Shawna, Cassidy, Emily F.; back, Emily B., Kelsey, Katherine, Emily R., Sheila, Alex, Joye and Brooke; missing from photo, Emily T., Madison and Jonelle.
