LEWISTON — Deborah E. West, 45, of Lewiston died Monday, July 12, unexpectedly after a long illness.

Born in Farmington, Dec. 14, 1964, the daughter of Joseph and Leda Copp West. She was educated in Auburn schools. She loved animals of all types, especially her four cats.

She is survived by her companion, Lionel St. Hilaire, with whom she made her home; two children, Christian Ducharme and his companion, Kristina Rowe, of Augusta and Cheryl Stronzik and her husband, Jermaine; her mother, Leda Richards of Lewiston; her father, Joseph West of Canada; her brother, Arlo (Yvonne) West of Lewiston; and one granddaughter, Tiana Seaborne.

She was predeceased by a sister, Jo-Ann West; and stepfather, Gilbert Richards.

A special thank-you to the Lewiston Police Department especially to Officer Justin Kitridge, for his comfort given to the family at a very difficult time. Bye Deborah- we love you and will meet you in the garden of flowers.
