AUBURN — Eleanor Frances Sylvester, 84, a resident of 440 Minot Ave., Auburn died early Wednesday, July 14, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility.
She was born Oct. 27, 1925, the daughter of Orville L. and May (Perkins) Sylvester. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1943 and attended the Auburn School of Commerce. When she was employed, she was an office clerk at the District Court.
She was a member of Court Street Baptist Church, Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, and Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94.
Survivors include one brother, Ralph L. Sylvester and his wife, Elaine, of Auburn; as well as several cousins in Massachusetts and Montana.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Evelyn Sylvester.
The family would like to thank Clover Health Care and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the wonderful and loving care given to Eleanor.
