AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — Gov. John Baldacci says he will greet President Barack Obama upon his arrival to Maine.

The president and his family plan to arrive Friday at the Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport in Trenton aboard Air Force One. They will stay on Mount Desert Island for a short vacation before departing Sunday.

Baldacci says he will greet the president upon his arrival and welcome him to Maine.

No public events are planned during the president’s visit.
