FARMINGTON — The Maine Parent Federation and the Franklin County Children’s Task Force will offer a workshop titled “Making Peace With Conflict: Weathering the Storm.” The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 26, at the Franklin County Children’s Task Force, 113 Church St.

Through discussion, reflection and interaction, participants will become familiar with some of the common terms and tools used to manage conflict. Participants will have the opportunity to explore various approaches to resolve conflict and identify strategies that can be used to resolve future conflicts.

The workshop will provide participants an opportunity to view conflict resolution from the eye of a hurricane and leave with strategies that can help them weather the storm.

There is a $20 stipend for parents who attend and child care and dinner is provided. Call 778-6960 for more information and to register.
