BRUNSWICK — Laurette L. Simoneau, 90, formerly of Lewiston, died Friday, July 16, at Parkview Adventist Medical Center in Brunswick.
She was born in Lewiston on July 1, 1920, a daughter of Albert J. and Laura Dumont Labbe. The family moved to Van Buren and she was educated in the schools there.
On July 1, 1950, Laurette married Roger Simoneau and they made their home in Lewiston. She worked at Bates Mill for 44 years, retiring in 1982. She had since made her home in Brunswick for the past nine years.
Laurette was a communicant of All Saints Parish, St. John the Baptist Church, and was a member of Les Hirondele Snowshoe Club.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing puzzles.
Surviving are two sisters, Irene Ouellette of Brunswick, and Lillian Bonneau of Enfield, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband who died Sept. 7, 1987.
