‘In Foreign Lands’The Sebago-Long Lake Music Festival will present its third concert, “In Foreign Lands,’ at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, at Deertrees Theater in Harrison. The concert is dedicated to the memory of Elsa Parshley Brown, a musical mentor to countless students, friends and relatives. Brown died last summer at age 94. Among the performers will be her daughter and two granddaughters, one whom is Elsa Brown, above. The program includes Finnish-born Bernhard Henrik Crussell’s Quartet for Clarinet and Strings in E-Flat Major, Op. 2; Antonin Dvorak’s String Quintet in E-Flat Major, Op. 97, “American;” and Tchaikovsky’s String Sextet in D Minor, Op. 70, “Souvenir de Florence.” For tickets, call 583-6747 or visit sebagomusicfestival.org.
