SCARBOROUGH — Ronald L. Bouvier, 75, of Rockwood Drive, New Gloucester, formerly of the Lewiston area, died Saturday, July 17, at The Gosnell Hospice House.

He was born in Lewiston, Aug. 11, 1934, the son of the late Arthur and Yvonne (Roy) Bouvier. Ronald was educated in Lewiston and graduated from St. Dominic High School.

He married the former Constance Poissonier on Nov. 25, 1961, she predeceased him in 2003. He owned and operated Met-Craft Inc. for many years with his wife Connie. Ronald was a member of The Prince of Peace Parish at The Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and a former member of The Chamber of Commerce.

He was known for being an honest businessman, having a generous heart, and always found the good in people. Ronald loved his cars, but most of all loved his grandchildren and was very proud of all of them.

He leaves a daughter, Susan Perreault and her husband, Rene, of Berlin, N.H.; a son, Marc Bouvier of New Gloucester; and three grandchildren, Glenn and Luc Perreault of Berlin and Joshua Bouvier of New Gloucester.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Daniel Perreault of Berlin, N.H.
