Rumford Public Library assistant, Addy Fuller, helps Sady Landry, 3, of Rumford, place a “parrot” on her shoulder. It was pirates’ day at the library on Monday during the annual summer fest. Youngsters created “parrots,” eye patches, and pirate bandanna head gear under the leadership of Mary Kaubris, a French teacher at Dirigo High School. The annual summer fest is half-way through. It wraps up on July 30.
