NEW GLOUCESTER — KidQuarters Child Care Center, 414 Tobey Road, New Gloucester, has earned accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, a leading organization of early childhood professionals.

To earn NAEYC accreditation, KidQuarters went through an extensive self-study process, measuring the program and its services against the 10 NAEYC early childhood program standards and passed an on-site visit by NAEYC assessors. The accreditation lasts for five years and programs are subject to unannounced visits during that period.

The NAEYC accreditation system was created to set professional standards for early childhood education, and to help families identify high quality preschools, child care centers and other early education programs.

KidQuarters offers care for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. KidQuarters also has a new location in Poland. For more information about either location, call KidQuarters at 926-5431.
