The Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a portion of this summer’s reading program for kids at the Auburn Public Library. Third- and fourth-graders who read 10 books will get a book of their choice to keep, provided by Kiwanis. Almost 400 children have signed up to date and it is open to all kids holding a valid Auburn library card. Pictured, from left, are Jim Wilkins, Heather Runnels and Laurie Pinkham, all of the library; and Doug Dwinal of Kiwanis. For more information on the donation or about becoming a member of Kiwanis, contact www.kiwanisauburnlewistonmaine.org.
