Seafood Nite

RUMFORD — On Wednesday, July 28, the Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 will hold a Seafood Nite, hosted by Bill Ruff and his crew.

The menu will consist of large shrimp cocktail, lobster roll and clam chowder with scallops. There will also be a 50/50. The cost is $15 a person and take-outs will be available.

On Saturday, Sept. 18, the lodge will host the Maine Children’s Cancer Walk at the Hosmer Field Complex. Proceeds will go to help children who are fighting cancer. The oncology center is located in Scarborough, which is affiliated with the Barbara Bush Center.

Dirigo reunion

WELD — The Dirigo High School Class of 1980 will hold a reunion from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Kawanhee Inn. A $35 check, payable to Dirigo Class of 1980, should be sent to Terry Ionta, 17 Johnson Road, Falmouth, ME 04105.

Those who plan to attend and will play that day should call 650-7166 to confirm a count for the meal. All alumni are welcome.
